“Small friendly lodge. The room was nice (and peaceful), and the food at the restaurant was good... slightly overpriced, but the serving size was more than I could eat. Overall, it's a nice place and worth a stop.”

“We stayed at Tygart Lake because my wife's family used to come here when she was little. We stayed at the Lodge. It is older but has been updated a little. The bathrooms are antiquated, but, what the heck. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The restaurant was great. The people and service were great. The hiking was great.”

“This just a review of the restaurant. We went for there Valentine's Day Special on Sunday it was very quiet probably due to the weather and we came at 5 when they close at 6 on Sunday. Staff was very friendly some of the options were out but we were able to substitute anything for the same price. Example they were out of Cheesecake but offered any other dessert they had. Food was very good except they use the oil on the garlic bread that I'm not a fan of but other than that everything was delicious. Can't wait to go back in the summer and have nice views of the lake eating out on the patio.”

“We usually stay here once a year for a family Holiday event. It's a little bit out of the way. That said, it's still a nice place for us. A bit "rustic". Clean & Pet friendly. No problems with a reservation at this time of year. Having the restaurant on site, definitely, makes for easy meal options. 8am to 7pm.”
